I have been a stock photographer for over 15 years visiting some of the most beautiful abbeys, churches, castles and manor houses in England and Europe. My love of horses and the architectural wonders of gothic eclesiastic architecture were the original inspiration behind having an abbey converted to a stable yard, creating a safe sanctuary for my pixel ponies.
It started with a single Cavitto, a “fantasy equine breed” on DeviantArt – Melaina in Feb 2014 with her reference drawn amongst the abbey ruins. She was later joined by other breeds such as Aksiothos and Drakehest, and my own Aszran horses as their lore developed in my NaNoWriMo writing. I now have far more than just a few ponies that live in the parks, forest and buildings of the Abbey.
Outside of Tincture Vale and her inhabitants I am a minecraft content creator on Twitch and an avid reader, artist and writer. I endeavour to take part in the National Novel Writing Month as often as I can each November since 2009. In 2010 the Aszran, my own breed of horses and the Kingdom of Inthania made their first apperance for my 50,000 word submission. The first of several instances I used as an opportunity to write lore and stories for them and for the Vale.
